but in my heart it is basically an evil event.

I assume this came from the "spirits of the dead roaming the earth" on that day.

It's a national holiday in Ireland. The kids even get a week off school.

Paul, I understand whence you come; but it's not polite to laugh at one's beliefs, regardless of how you may see them.     Be nice.               :-)

That is to say, as I compare halloween to Christmas, Easter, Indepedence Day and Thanksgiving. On those holidays I know what it is I am celebrating, on halloween, I don't know what to celebrate other that seeing the children and the giving of candy.

    I hear an echo....lol.

I write replies and the system stalls, with the circle just turning.   If I click 'post' again, then I get the dreaded duplicate post.

What I do now L is copy what I just wrote...  get back to the original thread...  hit reply and paste...   then click post.

I'd knock on Icon's front door for some Max Meters, but he'd probably give me dental floss and a little card with a Bible passage.

with what you normally  say , I would give you money back.

and ask you to stop being such for a better word ...Hillbilly.

I would imagine the costs (to say nothing of the difficulty) of doing that on the courses themselves would be astronomically prohibitive, and I must say I for one could think of many much more urgent tasks for the programmers to undertake. It may be possible without too much difficulty on the forum, but we shall see.
Personally, I view Halloween as a predominantly American 'holiday' and take little interest in it, but as this game is predominantly American anyway you may see something.

astronomically prohibitive costs? what to photoshop a skeleton into the bottom of a bunker on a course? I doubt that.

I know that the programmers could do a lot of other 'more important things' but you're clearly missing the point aren't you? This thread isn't about your opinions or about other things that programmers could do, it's about bring a little light festive fun to the game. I don't care much for your personal philosophy on Halloween in the same way I don't want religious nuts and atheists alike to push their beliefs down people's throats. This is a game let's keep on topic and have fun :)

Well if your a fully qualified programmer perhaps you could tell me how the %$"£ they're going to insert some stuff into rendered HD photographs on a gaming site that cannot even control the use of it's own VEM. or predict accurately the effects of it's own updates?

Talk about screwed up priorities! If you've gone to all the bother to read my wall to ascertain my personal beliefs I would suggest it is YOUR priorities that are messed up. Halloween? Light festive fun? Then go play trick or treat, or have you actually left 5th grade so are too grown up?
