Here's how to get a birdie on Bethpage Black 15th hole. Hit your second shot long and it will roll back below the hole. Putt it long and it will roll back into the hole.

I got lucky, normally bogey this hole, but amazing how the ball managed to roll back into the hole.

I've done that twice in the past few months. I have also eagled it 2 or 3 times as the ball rolled down the slope right into the hole.

Be careful not to hit your second shot too far up the green. Each shot here only has 30 seconds to complete, so if it creeps up the green slowly turns and then creeps back down, it can time out on the steepest part just above the hole.

That's one of those fun holes to play. It's fun to hook it up there and let it roll down, sometimes it rolls in the hole, it's rolled in for me a few times for eagle. And below the hole ( on the front left pin location) you really have to hammer the putt to knock it in for birdy.

Now try and find a good way of playing the back pin...

One of the easiest holes at Bethpage to be honest. To the front pin, you either are underneath the hole or are near the hole.

Now, I did recently have one stay above the hole and not fall victim to the 30 second time out. I was long right, however. Has never happened long left. Left me a very tough 5 footer

Back hole location is also easy. Throw it nearly all the way to the hole and it will stop with good equipment

For me it always seems to get a bad bounce and go 6 or 7 yards by.
