It would be an improvement if there was an OPTION to enable an INGAME clock for CC created tournaments.

That way you can publish tournaments where, when you actually play them, you have the shot clock (with usual values 90, 60, 45, 30 sec per shot) or an overall time limit for the entire round.

This would add some twist in the current formats of the tournaments.

Great idea especially for CC Tourneys. More choices=more fun!

This is amazing - I got on the Forum just now to post the same idea and Lo and Behold someone beat me to it.

I would also like to be able to put a number of times a player can replay the unlimited tournaments. I know that we set them up as unlimited play, but I've seen players play as many as 15 times in a row just to try and beat their (or) your score. You could make this as an option.

You could also have an option that a player could play an unlimited tournament as many times as they wish but the last score they get is what would be posted. Again make this an option.

I could see it per hole...but not "hole to hole", or a limit on rounds...sometimes things come up and you have to shut the game down, might be an hour before you can tee off again...etc...be a shame to have to waste a good round...

If it's matchplay or foursomes fine. But single player stroke play??

WTF does it concern anyone else how long I take to play a hole? On average I take 90mins to play 9 holes, mostly due to my intermittent connection but also because I like to take a break, have a cup of tea, put my daughter to bed, walk away from the PC to prevent me launching it out the window (frequently) and many other variables, if it doesn't adversely affect anyone else I see no reason for a timer.

    would be more realistic.

Some players are using minutes to get the perfect putt.

    I would be FORE !!!

told you to get of that bloody green 5 min. ago ?!

I see many scoring sub 30 scores every round, while in a mp game with time are

    barely making pars.

    so why not !

    .....

    so why not !

Quite simple, because I won't play any such tournaments. What is more if they become the norm I will take myself and my cash, I play with REAL cash, not survey credits or winnings, with me.
This is supposed to be a form of relaxation, I don't enjoy being rushed and I do enjoy taking breaks and doing many of the other things I can do at the same time, take away the fun and I leave. As I said, in MP, AS and such where the amount of time you take affects other people then fine, but not otherwise.
This is not 'real' golf, there is no-one ahead of me nor anyone behind me, so the speed I play at in single player stroke play has got the square root of f&%$ all to do with anyone else.

wow ! just an idea !

I am also pro 3 click to be the next norm , so that you cant hit perfect shots length wise.

    But again just my opinion.

I wouldn't like it. I play most solo games at work. I may play one shot then answer the phone then play a couple of holes and stop to see a customer and come back in half an hour.
