There are players with very poor connections, players who just suck at the game (try but fail), players who just like to mess around and then there are just complete idiots who get a sense of enjoyment out of making everyone wait while the timer runs down or deliberately throw the game for their partner.

Like many of you I have experienced more than my fair share of these sad sadistic bar stewards,  so without naming and shaming, I was wondering if there is any solution to this?

What can WGT do? Do they care that there are people ruining the game for others day after day after day? How much are your stats affected when your supposed 'teammate' deliberately throws the game by letting the timer run out or hitting stray shots on purpose?

It's a free world and it seems players can get away with doing whatever they want without consequence... but it doesn't half make you want to take a club and break it over their head or worse.

I try to play with only people on my friends list who I know are good people . As for the occassional games I play with others , and someone is a jerk , I block them and never have to think about them at all . Matter of fact ,blocked someone today . Eventually they'll have no one else to play with but other thoughless ,ignorant idiots like themself .

Do alt shot stats or records have any value?

I seem to have misplaced my alt shot record.

I've been around for a while,   just take a look at my tired old face.  I have been playing here for a long time too.

I have played probably in the neighborhood of 1800 alt shot games a thousand or so are the random kind where you don't know who you are getting.

My experience has been very good in that very few players have been a problem and most have been fellas and very nice ladies like minded who just want to have some fun.

There is no real answer to trouble makers,  it will be part of the hazard of playing folk from all corners of this now small globe.   Just go on to the next game and you will find some really outstanding guys and gals who love to waste their time on this fun site too.

good point lonnieskinner but I'd hazard a guess that the completion stats are affected by it. If not it would be nice if a WGT moderator could verify that?

For example today I played with a Tour Pro how turned out to be more of a hack landing in bunkers, the rough or 15ft from the hole. Even though I salvaged his horrible shots to bring us ahead of our opponents, he couldn't handle looking stupid and disconnected.

This happens 90% of the time in A/S because there are way more crappy sandbaggers who don't deserve the tier they have and they can't handle looking like an idiot on the course so promptly disconnect.

If I know that when that player quits (as all losers invariably do) that it wouldn't affect any of my stats etc then I'd be a lot happier.

Inofficially, me thinks that this has been disabled.

At first, A/S games were in the completion %% but IIRC this has been changed soon. The argument is that one player would affect three others when leaving the game prematurely, thus more "innocent hits" than targeted hits.

Thus my firm opinion that the completion %% are not affected by A/S interruption.

I agree that quitters are a PITA, but keep in mind: It's only a computer game, and some players aren't willing or able to see the human beings behind the avatars.
