It is disappointing how realistic the game looks only to find that the game is so flawed. Hit a SW @ 24' and it roll uphill an additional 30'. That the whole game and how you hit the ball is almost like a game of chance, and the sliding bar is not always consistent. That you can get through the first 9 holes at even only to lose 7 shots on the back 9. Total waste of time. I might as well be playing Mafia Wars.

you have been playing for a month and only have starter gear.  The starter gear is very imprecise and not very forgiving. It took me a while to get a hang of this game and still learning every day

I do not have any trouble getting to the green really. My worst issue is putting. Any advice to improve that?

The game is not that flawed. It's your skills playing the game that are flawed.

I was the same as you when I first started. I sucked really bad and I'd get pissed and go vent in the forum. Then I'd get a bunch of crap about crybaby and 'you suck' and it pissed me off.

So I decided to get better at the game, and guess what? I don't suck so as bad as I used to.

Play on all the courses and get use to the different greens. You'll soon get to know to the breaks.

Pick your style of putting. I like to take a view from behind and putt that way. I choose my aim depending on the break and also hit earlier or later than the ding. Some people will always hit the ding and set their aim accordingly depending on the break.

You need to get use to the speed. For uphill putts always be more confident and hit it harder. For downhill putts always hit less than you think, it will always dribble down further than you think.

Always play the percentages and try to get down in two putts. I'm afraid there is no substitute for practice. You'll get to know the feel of the greens and your putter. The more you play the more you'll get to know the greens.

Putting is all about confidence. There is no magic wand or putter. The more you play the more you'll have confidence with your putter. Just when you think you've cracked it, you'll go through a bad spell where no putts will drop. It happens. Then there will be days when you don't miss any. The more you play the better you will get. Don't forget your approach shots. A good approach shot will always take the pressure off your putting.

    Good luck.

Yeah the game bites , but stick with it ,because it gets worse .haahahahahaha:-) It just takes time , and you will find yourself getting better . We all started off just like you , and we all have played our way through it . So dont let it get you down , because you can make it too . Do the videos and surveys for free credits , and take your time to learn the game . Play practice rounds to learn the courses , and just give the game a chance . Welcome to the game as well , and I hope that you stay and have fun . Happy Swinging :-)

The Game is hard to Master ,    it does get frustrating ,  the only thing i can say to help is get a good putter  see what the best in your tier level used.....   get some good balls   ,,,,,,,     go practice on CTTH  best of putting  tourny,,,,,,    play it over and over till you get the putting to your liking ,,,,,,    I bet, when you will play strokes games   you will notice a great change ,,,,,at least thats what i hope for you .........                  And to finish ,the best on WGT have one thing in commun ,  patience and more patience  when it get harder .
