I read the description/info on this product, so forgive me if I missed something. I was wondering if the XP Boost gives you 40% more on the "consecutive days played" points, as well. If not, what is the best way to utilize the boost? I don't play alt. shot or match play (as I saw some mention of this being the best way to get the most out of it). I know it would really help at the lower/mid levels, but will it benefit me, or should I just keep chugging away? Thanks, Jay

The only other game type that yields the most XP points is tournament play with your daily CDP. So if you plan on doing your CDP with a CC tourney within an hour, go to the pro shop on the last hole and purchase the boost. Then keep playing so you can gain the max points till the boost runs out.

    ZioMio:
    CC tourney

Speak to the owner and set up a par 3 tourney.  Can bang those out in super quick time, and still get all the points.

EDIT: Guess I never read the post properly.  I agree with all the below about not really worth it unless you are on hurry up to the next level for some reason.  Setting up the odd Par 3 tourney now and then, and quickly banging round helps things tick over for not much effort.

THANKS!!! That sounds easy enough. Jay

Thank you. We're allowed to set up tourneys ourselves, so I'll be slapping a few of the par 3's in there daily.. Thanks, Jay

You can get two double CDP boni.

Precondition 1: Be sure to know when 12 am GMT is in your local time!

Precondition 2: Be sure to get the max CDP bonus of 880 XPs.

    1) Play an 18 hole tournament until the last shots of hole 18,

    2) save it.

    3) come back shortly before the day change (12 am GMT) (or just play the tournament as the first of the day to get the bonus),

    4) just before finishing, buy the Boost,

    5) finish and get double XPs for the tournament (=800) + the strokes (=120+) + the CDP (1760),

    6) relax and play what you want but leave a minute or two of the bonus,

    7) in these last minutes, start another 18 holes tournament (be sure to stand on tee 1 at least)

    8) save the game until the start of the next CDP day.

    9) finish and get another 800+120+1760 XPs

The peeve is that you cannot play for 23 hours with a one hour boost.

Me thinks that all this trouble is not worth the points - you will get them easier and gratuitous in a few day's play.

You can get the boost for CDP, and it's possible as mentioned above to get 2 CDPs covered in one boost. Also as mentioned above, the par 3 tourneys maximize your XP per stroke/unit time spent playing. Below is a link to a test I did shortly after the boosts came out. Be sure you know when your CDP clock rolls - very easy to lose your CDP if you miss it!

Quite true. And the boost is really only helpful if you are on the verge of a new level and are impatient to get there. As far as everyday play - way, way, way too expensive for the "benefit."

Thanks. That makes a lot of sense. It just seems like forever between levels, and I'm antsy :). One day when I'm free for a few hours straight, I may get a 4 hour boost and play an unlimited tournament back to back. But, you're probably right about it being more gratuitous just playing like I've been playing. thanks for the input. Jay

If I started a game, say 10 minutes before the next day (here it is 7pm every night) started, and finished on the new day, would I miss a day, or because I started on one day and finished on another, get credited with 2 days? I believe it was explained already to me, but I'm sort of still confused. Or just slow :)....Thanks for helping, Jay
