sure this will be yet another suggestion that gets royally ignored
but gonna put it out there anyway...

suggestion is to add training mode to multiplayer rounds,
    so it would be scored/practice/training

in training mode these terms take place:

    • no timer
    • elevations and grids are available to all players, putting and UEL
    • club selection, distance, and shot type available to all players
    • unlimited strokes
    • mulligans to all players

this would be a great tool for club owners
and top level players to help teach the game to other players.

    Take a common users' workaround:

The "pupil" plays solo, the "tutor" looks at his screen via Skype or Teamviewer.
In Skype, voice comm. is included, in TV., no talk, but the tutor may take over mouse and keyboard control.

Both are free (TV. for private use).

not everyone can or wants to use 3rd party software,
and also some people can be technically challenged,
and not get them to work right, and besides,
workarounds can be found for everything,
the end goal here is to have tools within the game to
tutor other players, maybe have a study group/clinic hosted by an elite player
to say 2-3 other low-mid level players at the same time,
could be a great service to the WGT community.

Me thinks it's not in the company's interest to provide tutoring tools.

Consider why there is no practice area: Effective training would reduce strokes and thus profit. Same about your proposal. It will be ignored according to your profecy.

Would the op be happy to tutor newbies, or would he rather others did it?

    me agrees :(
after a span of a few hours
    this suggestion looks incredibly naive,
so much so that  if I could, I'd delete the whole thing.

Didn't think about it like that Court,
I suppose that after a practice session that I gave
to one of our new members, I thought out loud about these shortcomings
but as alosso pointed out, it's was a ridiculously naive proposition
being that wgt has zero interest in devoting resources to create such a tool.

When a suggestion is not implemented does not mean it was ignored.

Consider how many active players might use such a mode.

If WGT estimates a significant number of active players would use the mode, and developing the feature would be cost effective, it would likely get some consideration. There is no certainty it would get done though, since other tasks may have a higher priority

I don't think a significant number of active players would use such a mode.
