Why is it when I play against hacks and amateurs with high handicaps, they are out driving, and matching shot for shot. They learn very quickly, or are cheating somehow.

It took, and is still taking me pleanty of time to learn the ins, and outs.

    Regards,

    Barry

Hacks and Amateurs do hit from closer tees, so out-driving a higher tiered player isn't a good indication of cheating.

I'm not saying they aren't cheating, I'm just pointing out that not everyone who out-drives you is a cheat. Maybe you should stick to playing at your own level. How much satisfaction could you be getting by playing against Hacks and Amateurs any way?

I host a game, they want to play. I find it insulting when Tour Legends and so forth don't want to play me. Anyway i think my point is, who shoots par golf, when they have been playing for two days, and have an average of 150?

The hacks or amateurs are tour legends on another account, hacks and amateurs do not shoot par,we'll the first timers on here don't,keep to your own level everyone else does.no offence but tour legends have done all the tiers your coming up to,they learn nothing from you so why would they want to play you?.keep to your own levels best way to not get scammed.when you get to tour legend you'll understand why and we'll have a game

I don't have a problem playing with Hacks and Ams - we all started there and I was grateful to some Masters/Legends who gave me a lot of of useful tips which improved my game quickly. It is unfortunate that some folks are prima donnas.

I got no problem playing with anyone either. I find that lowered tier members have a problem playing with me. I suppose there will always be those upper tier players that avoid the lower tiers, and vice versa. Not much you can do about that.

As far as the Hacks & Amateurs shooting par though (Hacks specifically), yea, that would make me skeptical.

If you're playing stroke play, what does it matter? You're playing your game from your tees and they're doing whatever they're doing. If you're playing Match play for money I could understand but stroke play really is about only yourself.

Ok, lets all take a deep breath!! I enjoy playing all, from hack to tour legend. I don't mind losing or winning, I love getting tips from all. All I asked was how, in match play does someone who signed up, and played two days, shoot 70. My question was answered, they have two accounts. Thanks for the information, both positive and negative.

Maybe you have a hard time understanding, or I might type slower,  but i said I have a hard time playing match play against people who have signed on for two days and have 150 average, and shoot  a 70.
