If you want to make fun of me -- ok fine .

    But dont forget :

First: you are member since 2011 , iam since 2012.

Second: I believe you play regulary , i havent played for for few months since april this year.

Third: Your attitude is not the same like mine or from other players. I for example see no clue investing here money and much time without a chance of reward. I do want to get better sure but its hard without good equip. Also i mostly play against other players because its more fun but there you cant do training as effecient as it could be.

Fourth: I DONT SAY THAT I WANT TO MAKE BIG MONEY OUT OFF THAT. I only compare the situation to poker . There i see a big difference between people who for free and for money. When money off your own is invested (it could be only 5 or 10$) the game off the person changes and mostly to better.

And last : This is a forum , where every player , regardless being Hack, Amateuer , Pro or like you Tour Legend, can make a post (following the guideline) to share his ideas. And i think back 14-15 years nobody thought playing poker on the internet would be possible. Now poker is a multi billion industry and people are playing for 100 of thousands dollar per hand.

Call me a fool , dreamer or what ever you want. And by the way -- i know how this site works. I only say that IF ITS POSSIBLE TO PLAY ONLINE-GOLF FOR MONEY it would probably increase the traffic on wgt, because normally thats the way it goes with something new on the internet .  And thats what wgt.com wants .

Yeah sure Mike. In my town, the casino is next door to the strip club :) You need to do well in 1 to pay for the other. Trouble is i haven't worked out which 1 is which yet...lol

I dare say you don't know, just because WGT deliberately pulled the plug regarding any legal payout in real money (business gift cards) in January 2013. Their actions (much more than their talking) state to me that NOT allowing play for money is their business path.

Anybody striving for CREDITS is up a blind alley, officially.

For players who must play for real money  having Pay Pal accounts and playing others you can trust to pay if they lose should be pretty simple. I gotta believe we have members doing it already.

I don't think anyone (by my reading) was making fun of you at all, I know there were digs about the game/game play,  but none directed at you.

    Cheers

I am an admitted degenerate gambler, and I would never play for real money on this site.  As many of us know, there is a lot of luck involved in this game.  The VEM can be all over the place.  It seems any RG I play I see something out of the ordinary at least once a round, and the hole becomes the size of a thimble.

The multi accounters is the biggest reason I wouldn't consider it.  There are TONS of people you look at and say 'how the hell are they doing that'?  There is a player who joined this site 6 months ago and is at Master level with a 55 average.  He only plays tourneys (with this account, anyway) and wins frequently.  Look at the Winter Tourney results.  I don't take the time to search out these players, but it is a known fact that WGT not only allows it, but doesn't even acknowledge it exists.... as long as they get theirs, they couldn't care less.

There was also a Ponzi scheme going on by Full Tilt Poker that may have been the real reason poker was shut down. Full Tilt was a scam site.

Now, what I wish they would do is allow you to cash out credits for cash. Maybe at least up to the point that you bought in with real money

strong headwind into  par 5. Easy wedge and a birdie!

Strong tailwind on a par 3... shorter iron... another birdie

"gift cards were removed for legal issues"

That may be the case, but as caps and shirts are there, nobody forbids WGT to put gloves, mugs, mousepads or even more expensive golf goodies. Heck, at least caps and shirts of a different color... :)

Regarding the proposal of the thread: there would be an easy way to solve sandbagging - one's "tier" being determined by nothing else but net winnings (or simply current credits minus those bought with cash or earned from ads/questionnaires). Even now such a system would be much more reasonable than the current one with artificial boundaries between the tiers (63, 61, 60).
