PR- If it was coordinated with what we discussed in the other thread regarding the club performance being less in the hands of lesser-tiered players, I could see a great opportunity to introduce new brands that companies might be willing to do.
I could see entry level clubs with the Wilson, Top-Flite, Snake Eyes, etc. label on them being introduced at entry level just like they are when you walk into a big box retailer or large sporting goods store. Such an approach would ensure the top end club market isn't just the same old thing with a brand new label. Let the companies that partnered with WGT early keep the top end.
Unfortunately, I don't see enough creative thinking and communication taking place with WGT personnel to believe they would see the value of such an approach or attempt it even if they did.
MrWGT has either has surrounded himself with people not capable of thinking creatively or he will not empower them to act on it. That would mean too much micromanagement is going on.
