In all honesty if just looking scores you have a driving accuracy of 80%.  I would suspect that will go up with it, and so think you done well (price aside as that's only for you to decide).

Much as I personally disliked the R11, and voiced my opinion when it was the only real game in town for too long until the R11S it did work for me and many others.  In fairness to WGT they rectified that issue, and now we have other very nice and fun to use drivers (bit where R11 fell down IMO) at sensible levels anyway.

Funny really.  Nearly every one wants the biggest, baddest, slow loading 12 bore even if, for many, it's score neutral 99.99% of the time at least. Yep every one  needs (perceives) that edge with a BIG one.

Anyway money spent now mate, and am sure you will enjoy it as much as I do mine.

Imo the R11s is easier to gauge distance, however the R1 is easier to hit straight.

For example Oakmont #8 the long par, with the R11s I usually had distance right but was usually off left or right. with the R1 it is easier to hit the ball on line but usually long or short  of the hole.

And every once in a while you will get an extra long hit or a rather short hit, which doesn't happen often but it is a wtf shot especially if the unexpected distance (long or short) gets you in trouble.
