Becoming a Legend?

  I entered the Tour Master tier on December 3, 2013. Then, after playing THREE rounds as a Tour Master, I get bumped up to legend on December 10. Is this normal? I thought the tier progression was supposed to be more measured from what I've read on the forums. In the meantime, the girl who is kicking my behind in some recent Ready-Gos is still a Tour Master, devouring tournament after tournament. I don't understand. I guess this place operates like a freaking casino. They see you really get the game after playing for several months and they see you winning some tournaments and bump you up. Anyway, I welcome the challenge. But not without declaring the system as a joke. I became a legend it seems because someone arbitrarily decided it so, not because of a established program with rules. It didn't even happen while I was playing like it happened with the other tiers, after completing a round and meeting some score. I just signed in today to play and all of a sudden I see I'm a legend now. Doesn't seem too orderly to me.

  hi

  it depends on other things as well, not just stroke play scores. I would say it's unusual but not unheard of.

  Congratulations. Just one more step to the top of the tree. It's best to look on it a challenge rather than a curse and I'm sure that you'll cope admirably.

  You already have the clubs to play from the tips . Now all you will need is a better ball . The greens are faster , and you wont get it done with the rock . Try either the Srixons , or the level 33 Cally balls . Both are good balls , that can hold the greens very well . Congrats on the move up as well .Its not bad playing from the tips , in fact you will in time find it more enjoyable . Good luck and have fun. Happy Swinging :-)

  Three rounds of 58, 56 and 61, quite a bit below the coveted average, including a 2nd in a RG, worth 1,200 credits: exceptional! The combination of these ignites the afterburner ;)

  You also had only 14 rounds as a Master - didn't that tell you anything?

  Earnings of 36,300 credits - are you sure that it's not you playing "casino"?

  LOL...it might have something to do with the fact that you won 11, and finished 2nd/3rd 8 times, in your last 20 tournaments...LOL

  or that you have these awesome stats while only hitting 48% of the fairways in regulation....

  I was wondering about that fairways stat. Someone wrote about it the other day on the forums, that some people hit all the fairways and still get a lower %. Must be some kind of glitch.

  I to would like to know what guidelines WGT uses, because I too got bumped up to Legend within a month of turning Tour Master. Now it is nearly impossible to compete in the Ready Go Tournaments, and  still have a long way to go to level up to where I can purchase equipment to make up for move to the Championship Tees. There are shots here that are impossible to make with the equipment I have.
