Just pulled my 'Short Sharp Shocked' 1988 Polygram LP out, took a while, they used to be in alphabetical order ! (some *$^% has been at my collection ;-)

Tried to find ' The L & N don't stop here anymore' on U- Tube and couldn't so...

Back to it being easy...just Tori left

Sup Andy?  My Tori don't count?  (grammar correction not necessary, I know the syntax of my question isn't perfect, but I did post a Tory Amos song ... unless there's some ol' musician I don't know about with the same name ....)

    lol, war of words....

I would never correct your grammar DK, I don't know how you got the idea from any previous posts that I ever would  :-))

And it was MY syntax in the original question that was wrong..or was it ?

"sleeve's to" denotes plural and one to each of the best of both..

Still I could've made it clearer for the hard of learning lol

    No offense DK..

    Andy

EDIT: still looking for that Tori tune....

Edit: (text deleted ... was a tad too blonde even for me to understand)

No offense taken ... always fun even when I don't win!

    Thanks Andy ... Happy Holidays!

Oh, everyone's gonna hate me... but... does sleeve's  correctly denote plural?

(I'm trying to be helpful... not a smart**s...)

    Rule 1

Use the apostrophe with contractions. The apostrophe is always placed at the spot where the letter(s) has been removed.

    Example: She's a great teacher.

    Rule 2

Use the apostrophe to show possession. Place the apostrophe before the s to show singular possession.

    Example: one woman's hat

... or to show plural possession, make the noun plural first. Then immediately use the apostrophe. (two children's hats)

Therefore,  to simply write, "I have given sleeves of balls to each..." will suffice.

    xxMolly

    ROFL!  Nice one Molly!

Got a Tori tune for Andy?  He has quite an eclectic taste in music ... so you may have to do some searching ... (plus he's really old, so the tunes he picks are usually before we were born)!

Sorry Andy ... still love you, even though you're past your prime!

    Kat ♥

Edit:  I hope you know I'm kidding!  Lovin' you!
