Does anyone have any info on the safety of downloading free programs in WGT for credits?  My Comodo anti virus security gives warnings about malware etc when I try to access these programs, in particular Online Weather,  Audio Convertor and Media Player.

Can anyone verify if it's safe to download these?   [View:http://www.wgt.com/user/offers_more.aspx#provider-supersonicwall:550:0]

    Cheers.

Personally I wouldn't download anything from the Supersonic pages. At the very least you'll get swamped with spam.

If you're using CD's secure servers you will get flags on many safe sites. They are a bit over protective.

Thanks for your help. I guess it's better to be safe than sorry.

A lot of times you will get more than you want with these downloads . Even though you think you are getting one item , you will have multiple programs that are piggy backing the download . Some you wont even be aware of , until you go through your programs . Some will be very hard to remove as well . For safety sake , stay away from them . If you want to get something which they show , then go to a trusted site like Cnet , and download what you want from there.
