Hit the free balls during rounds you don't care about.

    sMcRocket:

I have no problem buying credits to support the site, but having to buy a new sleeve of balls after 3 or 4 rounds, without having hit any into a hazard or OB, is growing tiresome.  Perhaps its time to look for anew on-line past time.

I get a bit scared of replying to posts made by high level Legends making there 3rd post, thinking that the person is employed by Wgt just to see what our reply's are and then change the game....lol

I purchase golf balls and clubs to help me to play the game better regardless of cost and I think sometimes you have to outlay some credits or dollars to do so.

I suppose I'm supporting Wgt doing that, but I don't care how much credits or dollars I spend on this site as long as I'm enjoying playing the game and that is what counts.

My comments is not directed to the OP,  Just saying :)

Don't hit the ball as often. LOL

Playing real golf I don't play a ball for more than 6 holes, or a new sleeve for each 18 holes. So to me WGT golf balls are a real bargain,

The Nike balls I play give about 120 hits per ball or 360 hits per sleeve - about 5.5 full rounds at my scoring average of 65..

It looks like the Callaway balls you play only deliver 100 hits per ball, or 300 hits per sleeve - about 4.25 full rounds per sleeve at your scoring average of 70.5. The lvl 35+ Callaway balls deliver 120 hits per ball, but you would lose some performance.

You could save 25 credits per sleeve by forgoing the Vapor feature.and using the Lvl 43+/Legend + Callaway ball since it has the same performance with no Vapor.

I just counted the hits to wear out a newly bought lime green GI2-S Ball. Its durability ratings is 2 dots. I needed to play full 16 CTTH Tournament rounds. At the start of the 17th round I got a new ball. This are 144 hits or full 2 18 hole Stroke play rounds. In the list above the numbergiven is 125 hits.

I think WGT redefined the ball to be a bit more durable.

Update - just counted by me:

NIKE RZN Black Vapor Balls (L92+) 120 hits

The GIS-2 is what I use, it is a good cheap ball. No extra distance or vapor ,but  spin and 2.0 durability.

A Srixon Ball I just tested still has the 120 hits durability that seems to be standard for all 2.5 dot high end balls.

Youre dreaming they reduce their incomes ?

Then you must be one of the worst ball strikers around if you're replacing balls every 6 holes. That's the biggest bunch of horsesh!t I've every heard.... 1v's last 36 holes easy if you're a decent striker and not hacking the hell out of them.

    LoL Every 6 holes..

At $10 a pop, I'd hate to see the beer tab for that boozer at a ball game Jimbog.

In RL I just use the golf balls i find on the course usually.

    Jimbog1964:

x 3 beers every say 40 minutes for  hours on a boozer - call it a say $90 just at the pub.
