G'Day All.
To all involved in the 12 days of Christmas ( Opyeuclid, Toona, Drcliveoak, Frappefort, Tommyk1981, Gjmccannel,
Kindle2010, Borntobesting, Gparoro, Johnabel1234, Teetimesmitty and
Mrcaddie ) what you are doing is a wonderful initiative.
I live in Japan and have three English schools with two Australian Mates. Todayr we held our annual Christmas party for kids. To see the kids have so much fun, the smiles on their faces to meet Santa and enjoy a gift was and is always a great thing.
My business partners ride motor bikes and belong to a group called The Gaijin Riders. This group of of people consisting of foreigners and Japanese including Americans from a nearby military base do a toy run each year to two orphanages in Tokyo and one in the prefecture I reside. They all dress in Santa wear, play games with the kids, supply a pizza lunch and hand out gifts purchased anonymously from their pockets or from their businesses. Unfortunately I can't be a part of the day as I need to hold the fort on those Saturdays but I am always there in spirit.
Some people say 'there is no such thing as a selfless act". I somewhat agree - because the enjoyment received to those we give is a gift to ourselves. This is what Christmas is and should be all about.
Happy golfing to you all.
