You don't know me well enough Andy  :)

First of all I can well judge your barring powers -  "my thread" raises but a smirk.

Next, there's no account for tasting, so there was nothing to say since you seemingly dislike X-Factor or that style of music or female singers too much to hear her outstanding voice and performance.

I rather pretended to have been barred - what you see is the genuine version of that post. It's a pity that you didn't see me smile <bg>.

    Enjoy your day in peace!

Well in light of Alosso being "barred" from further participation in this thread, I thought I would push the boundaries.

Something quite experimental, and HATED by everyone I know lol (except moi).

Uh oh, I see a red card.

    ZioMio:

You may or may not know this....

Peter Garrett,  lead singer of Midnight Oil became a Federal Politician after the band broke up. He is not in Politics anymore...  so hopefully the Band will get together again.

Seems a fitting song.  And it's also great.

Something from one of the finest but little known singer/songwriters ever.

And I believe he wrote this when he was about 20 years old.  Pretty remarkable.

LOL, I figured I would be, but hey, I like being unique (for lack of another word :) )

And now for something completely  different  - jazz (if you  don't  like Jazz listen from about 3.25 for some trumpet playing by one of Aussies, no the worlds best) Note he has better versions but this is the only one I could insert.

Another one, from my days in London, was tempted to put in Magazine or the Members, but thanks for the memories Rory. I was lucky enough to meet him  and I will raise one (Jamesons). - to the heady days of Chelsea!
