Please would a WGT moderator shed some light on what actually is required to be eligible to be a WGT Nation member.

So here's what doesn't quite add up....

    The default message says:

Sorry, you're not eligible for the WGT NATION, but we'll email you when you are and please check back again.

There's many 'top customers' but who knows what they did to become 'top customers'?

...well in other threads surrounding this issue there's been several assumptions but the WGT heads have been tight-lipped.

One member wrote this as possible eligibility criteria:

Here are some examples of top customers:

    1. Spends over a certain amount of money on this game

    2. Plays a lot

    3. Advancing through tiers in a short time.

That would certainly make sense but then I have spent a lot of money in the game, I play every day and I have advanced through the tiers in a short time. There is no way some of these WGT Nation Members have, when I've looked at their profile closely and stats and they're still playing with starter clubs. Who knows? Maybe they actually did win the lottery and made a phone call to Mister WGT???

I'm sure there are many players scratching their heads thinking the same thing. Why am I still not eligible?

Rather than speculation and assumption, I'd be grateful if we could have a definitive answer on the actual eligibility requirements from someone who knows (WGT).

I'd also recommend changing the default notice for non-eligible players, so that it lists the full requirements.

    Hi

we do not know the exact requirements. Some factors are known and others are not, so I cannot give you a definitive answer.

    sorry:(

    They won't tell us more.

And, don't expect too much from it. More promises than profitable outcome.

    Hi WGTicon,

So I assume you're saying that the known factors are players that hit level 90+ and make Legend tier.

Though I've seen more WGT Nation Members that don't meet these requirements than those that do. So the obvious question is what makes a 'top customer' in the eyes of WGT?

Surely it's not money because I know I've spent a ton, I've played a lot and have levelled quickly.....so is it just a random lottery or just disorganised chaos? Why the mystery surrounding it? It feels more like a secret society than a loyal customer club.

WGT NATION is free to join and is by invitation only for WGT Legends and players Level 90 and above, as well as a limited number of other top customers invited by WGT.

I'd worry about something of actual importance in your life rather than this. Being a member gets you virtually nothing. But, the envy it creates is pretty funny to see. ;)

I hear ya, but alas I don't know either. My guess it'll be soon since those invites go out in waves

I've seen many threads from players saying the same thing but I'm not worried or envious. I just want to know what a 'top customer' is?

so far there's conclusive evidence to the contrary that it's based on money, time, tier, level, forum contribution or geographical location or pretty much anything else you can think of, so the conclusion is....

it's a random lottery like picking names out of a hat eventually they might send you an invite sooner or later unless you reach level 90 or Legend first.
