I am a Tour Pro using a Daytona Putter Lvl 55+. I consider myself a pretty good miss ding putter but have trouble using the higher scale putters i.e. 90, 150, and occasionally 300. Typically this is not an issue although I am putting within 30 feet or at least 60 but occasionally I am driving greens and having long putts. I find these putts either come up well short or fly by at least 10-20 feet sometimes even more. I don't know why I can be so accurate at shorter distances and so off on long putts. Is there some trick to figuring out distances on long putts, and does the ball matter? I am using free balls.

The longer putts get, the more they roll. No doubt overall uphill or downhill also affect the length of the roll.

Once wind gets up to the 16+ mph range you also have to take wind into consideration. A tail wind will lengthen a long putt, and a head wind will make it stop sooner.
