I was in the pro shop looking at iron sets. I am a bit confused as to two of the sets. Here is the link for the comparison.....

    http://www.wgt.com/proshop/product_compare.aspx?compare=true&c=Irons&i=3dc39289-1b3e-49e9-9cc7-56ed59722075,c5d99921-8962-4cb9-a234-6a8007ac38ee

The 595cr more expensive set was available 2 levels sooner, however the less expensive set has exactly the same attributes. How is this possible? Does anyone know if one set is actually better performing? I am confused as to why they would put an identically attributed set that is 600credits more two levels ahead of another that is less.

    Thanks for all responses.

Beware: The reviews are selected by Marketing IMHO.

Marketing also includes that new and better clubs are available at each level-up.

From a bunch of discussions it's my firm opinion that the first clubs worth buying are the R11's at level 32 (13,000 XPs). Alas, they stand back in importance behind a replacement of the Starter wedges. Two short ones of Ping lvl 42 (32,000 XPs) or the more expensive ATVs of level 38 are profitable to short play.

    Most important: Have fun!

In looking at the OPs wall how does one keep a 150 avg at level 28 and having played 11 ranked rounds with all in the 80 range for 18 even a 37 for a 9, just asking.

    Only Par5s played.

    Interesting to see the stats:

All skill stats are filled, except the scoring average (150) and the Par3 and Par4 averages: 0.0

I have been practicing all the courses, and liked the par 5 course the best. It's easiest to get par or better on...lol. Anyway, I shot it once without changing it to practice. I didn't really realize what I had done, but figured out quickly when awards started popping up. I decided to just keep going and see how i could do. I was surprised, when finished, to see that my score never changed. I am guessing that it is because for the par5 course (and par3 course as well, i would imagine) the score would not accurately reflect a proper average...so they don't count them...just guessing here. Now, I just select the par 5 course all the time because it's comfortable...and I am being a scaredy-cat on the rest of them. I do think, however, that I am ready to shoot my first official ranked round....lol. I have been practicing St. Andrews a lot, and think that I might be able to shoot a clean round there...practices have been a mixed bag....that fescue sucks!!!

Anyways, thanks for the input on the irons. I figured that what was stated was the case. Good luck out there to all, and hit 'em well!!

I plan on it row2seat2. I want to be a well rounded player....but par5s are so appealing right now....lol. Someday the word Legend might grace my profile page.
