I was just wondering, has anyone noticed if this game has changed in the way that they are programming how their hits go?  I have been keeping track of the ball goes when I hit it.  I have figured that a ball goes in a totally unrealistically way between 75 - 80% (from my counting, I can guarantee this percentage figure) of the time.  Such as a chip to the green, 2ft up to the pin, almost flat green after that and a 18ft chip w/backspin goes 20yds?  Or a putt that with very little break in it goes about 30 degrees offline from the putter face?  Or a 190 yard hit with the wind (hit perfectly) goes about 150 yards?  Or a hit with virtually no wind goes about 25 yards offline?  There are so many other "crazy" things that have happened like this that I could not begin to list them all and it would take up a large amount of space.  Some are less crazy and some a lot more crazy.  And yes, I do know that the game is programmed to sometimes exaggerate hits to make it a little more difficult which I do not have any problem with.  I know that it may sound like I'm whining but I'm not.  I do not intend to let these things truly bother me and I am playing it because regardless, I do enjoy playing it.  I just wish that the programmers or who ever is doing it, sooner or later chooses to get it to play correctly.

It seems the same as ever to me. I still miss most of the dings and miscalculate some shots but the results don't seem any different.

Right you are. I find the game terrible inconsistent, not true to form particularly with the wind as you mentioned but the short game around the greens chipping especially. Can't even tell you how many times I've duffed the ball 6" in front of me, ridiculous. Now with the uneven lies, it is so exaggerated they can take that "Breakthrough" and place it where the sun don't shine.

Join the club!!! 30 mph cross wind that moves your ball clear across the fairway, and two holes later with the same wind you end up on your target diamond in the boon docks or worst yet a lost ball.....or...or...or....or..... And yet we all continue with this madness.

While I hate it that y'all have to go through the same things, at least I'm glad that I'm not the only one.  I would hate to think that one or some of the things I've sent in doesn't seem to be being held against me and that they are not taking it out on me.

Had a major WTF shot at Merion recently.Hitting a lob wedge RIGHT of the water on 11

Then I noticed my laptop mouse was stuck and my aim shifted there.

Most of the WTF shots are not caused by WGT. They're either a miscalculation, computer error, OR the natural lack of precision in each club.

Basically, this game is a math game due to the dispersion that each club gives. Just play the odds and you will score very well over the long run

I've noticed something similar on putting. Having 25 yards to go on a flat green with a max 30 yard gauge should need an 80-85% swing to get it within a couple of feet. Not so: it usually stops 5 yards short. I keep thinking "oops forgot to take into account it's a slow green", so on the 2nd putt I recalculate the swing to be only 20% to get there or thereabouts. Only it miraculously sails 15 YARDS past the hole. I don't get it' how can a full swing (that should go 30 yards) only take it 25 yards one way on a flat green, yet 20 yards on a 20% swing on the next shot (making a full putt suddenly 100 yards) - epsecially when the green speed's the same from both angles?

Well I have been going through the same off and on. It would be nice to explain it off with they threw a switch on me, but in all likelihood, they have not.

Anyway, here is how i fixed my game.

I had been installing various different browsers and different versions of flash over the last couple of weeks and I think something broke my flash.

So this morning uninstalled flash and all the extra browsers, cleaned the registry, installed palemoon and the latest beta flash.

    Game is better today.

If shots go crazy, that's my bet, someone broke your flash.
