So I contacted WGT and they seem to believe (not sure why they wouldn't know with certainty) that we Club Owners can "pin" threads at the top of our Club Message Board.  Could one of you fine folks please tell me how I do this?

It works in our CC.   Under options at the top of the post.  and you will have options for the period of time you want it to remain pinned up to forever.  I have heard that many cannot do that however.  I''m not sure why you cannot!  Strange

Yeah I have no options.  Just "mark all read" and a filtering option on how the threads are listed.

This last update there was a fix put in for CC owners who's club was transferred to them.  The fix seems to have worked for some but not everyone.  With the holidays no one is around to dive deeper into why it is working only for some.  New year I will see what can be done.

Can you explain why nothing was said about this?

A lot of this was caused when CC ownership changed hands I was told. Is this true? I try to email CC members but they don't get it. Am I doing something wrong? I contacted WGT about the issue but never got a reply. Any help would be appreciated.

I am a a second CC owner, and I have a lot of issues.

Not receiving mail notice about member movements is the biggest pet peeve (1), the "member mailing error" is a different one.

    (1) with a sad first anniversary some time ago

Alas, I've been offered the "sticky" option all the time, and the only real issue which I know in relation to owner change is that the former owner had to leave and re-enter to re-enable him to post in the CC forum.

IMHO, WGT gives away a lot of help potential by not informing their customers about changes intended and not asking how it works. Me thinks, their little business secrets have higher priority than trouble-free operation.

My 2 Pfennig, no pun intended.

Edit: One change to the better: Got my first tournament "don't forget to post score" mail in 10 months!
