Just looking for a tip on how much to add for full bs on a Calloway ball. I want to go with 4-5yds, but am not sure. I keep coming up short! Thanks for any and all constructive input.

It is of little importance if you can putt as well as you do..

And after FREE renting, then buying the irons you went from shooting 57 on congress B9 to a 31 in the space of 2 days...seems to me you have them dialed in ?

Not to mention the -18 under on BO p5's inbetween..............

I hate to admit it but Alcuacin is right. A lot of your stats are better than mine yet you've only played 22 rounds total. How much backspin did you use on your other account.

I am coming up anywhere from 4-7yds short.

Also, to the others, I am guessing that you all have never heard of practice rounds. You just have to change some things on the settings when you go to shoot a ranked round ;). It seems as though you all just picked them up and hit them in ranked and tournament rounds. Sorry that I practice. And on the par 5 course...you get 3 shots to get it close to the hole. Which means that by the 3rd shot I am set up for an easy shot...so it's a close putt. Also, the majority of my ranked rounds are on the par5 course. And one last thing, that I am a bit ashamed to admit....I was using the "gimme" putt button alot. On the -18 round on par5 course, I only had to hit it within 10ft of hole and I hit the gimme...I didn't actually putt once during the entire round....well I did putt when outside of 10ft., but then hit gimme after that. With these clubs I was hitting green in two almost every hole. One long putt, one gimme. Anyways, don't believe the stats...and thanks for the help.

I may have been a bit harsh before. Do any of you know how many tip giving posts are out there? How many videos of actual play? How many tutorial videos containing actual play? I am not good at this game..I simply watched a ton of videos and tutorials. I combed the threads and the internet on tips for wind, rough, sand, club selection. I have spent hours upon hours watching how to play this game. With the tutorial videos you don't just see what they are doing and read how they do it....you see what club they use, the exact amount of backspin, how they hit the ball...whether they ding or not. You also get to see how a lot of the courses play out. I have gotten so much from the knowledge and frustration of others. Players have put those tools and such out there for new people to watch, learn, and practice...before they go out and shoot a tournament. Why would I not take advantage of all of it? Why would I blindly, stupidly, and stubbornly try to figure it all out on my own when help is so widely and willingly given. Implementing it all is tricky sometimes, but WGT provides tools to help with that. Heck, if the meters too fast....buy a ball that slows it to a crawl, if you are struggling with how much distance you need out of a club on a shot....get shot pal, putter pal, or WGT Caddy. It's a game that requires knowledge (which has been so awesomely given by all), hand eye coordination (which I have), and the money to get the clubs and balls that make a world of difference. My 58 on b9 of congressional was with starter balls and clubs....I went through it hitting the club they gave..no spin or marker movement. I was trying out missing the meter like I saw in a video. Could I have shot better? Yes. I had gone through the course at least 5 times in practice...shooting each hole till I got par or better. If I failed to get par, I exited the practice round and started over....I have shot a lot of the holes many times. I was kinda puzzled by what courteneyfish wrote...but now I have searched the threads and see what they were talking about. I have no other accounts on WGT, but I have used all of the information and tools that have been provided so that I can play my best. And I saw your stats...I do not have one stat that is better than yours.... let alone a lot of them.

Not the exact number but I guess the point you are trying to make is that there are a plethora...

    See answer above....

    OK

Yet neglected to look for backspin on balls ?

You've only been here for 'hours and hours'

    0000rb3:
.you see what club they use, the exact amount of backspin

That ^^^ is a contradictory statement....considering your original post.

    All custom balls are overvalued.

Nike balls have a smoth meter, thats all.

The Galloway are stuttering like a 90 year old farz.

Last time Im using the cheeper Taylor Lethal balls. They have perfekt meter, the distance i can find anymore and closer to the pin. Also im hitting 90% today the center.

With Galloway i hit the center only some times.

The Nikes are fine, but very hard to calculate the influencing of spin.
