  I should've used more bs, lol. Ended up with a 37 footer with 2 inches downhill, hit it 15 feet and of course rolled down into the valley for a flop + putt bogey. A bitter end to my probably best WGT round ever, considering the conditions. I started off with 4 consecutive birdies and lucky shots like this on the back 9 didn't hurt either ;-)

  Anyway, I stopped playing for a while on account of work, but I'm very glad I spotted this tourney, it's a great challenge and loads of fun. TYVM, Mr. Icon for setting this up.

  Can't tell you how many 4-5 feet putts I missed, you wouldn't believe it.

  I think it's any speed not in the normal settings. IIRC when it was dead slow in the last one, it said that as well.

  Curious .. why couldn't you participate ?   You played on 1/1 and 1/2 .. that was the dates of the first round.   You played on 1/3 .. that's when round 2 started.   I'm just wondering if I'm missing something.

  I think it's any speed not in the normal settings. IIRC when it was dead slow in the last one, it said that as well.

  As all players found out, the speed was just about 40-50% faster than championship greens. Although I missed several silly putts, the green speed challenge was awesome.

  Anyone to give a hint about the green speed?, I suppose it is much slower then "slow" greens.

  took me 1st 4 holes to sort it out, hence my 2 under fr 9

  you know...

   

  I had left pin on #1 and wicked wind so ended up 25ft short, hit and it went 11ft long, bogey...  

  on #2, I had crap crap lie and aimed for it and it didn't move... I was like 50ft left and long... barely saved par.. from them on I played very well but also had decent lies and 2 shots here I had bad lies, I hit inside 4ft.

  I lipped 8 for birdie :( and on #7 I had horrible lie, clubbed 3 up and ended up on short end of the hump. But, I knew it didn't move much so hit it and got to 2ft to save par.

  Worst was #12 I had 30tail, choked and ended up 60ft long... how do u calculate it?  No clue, so I hit for 90power and it just lipped (so lucky) but I missed birdie coming back.

  I think I birdied the rest except for #17 since lie didn't let me get to the green.

  The biggest difference for me this round was making MANY 8-14fters. I dinged 80% of my putts, which is what allowed me to aim and ram them in.

  I also wasn't nervous as first tournament, where adrenaline almost took me hehe.
