windows 8 help???

     just purchased a new dell laptop with windows 8, upgrading from a 7 yr old windows XP  unit that constantly, loaded slow  a nd  meter would  would freeze,, but I could still play the game fairly well, now this windows 8 loads faster than anything ive ever played on, no lags or glitches,, except,, the meter now over runs when i click,cant figure it out,, anyone ,, please help!

    I'm not sure if that's a browser issue or a problem peculiar to Windows 8, but you could try a different browser if you haven't already done so.

    If you are using Chrome then the culprit could be the pepperflash player. I have a powerpoint presentation that shows a possible solution to that problem.

    go to pointing devices and increase your double click speed . i got mine set to max ...

    Same thing happened for me.  New windows 8 laptop and a desktop. 

     

    Updating drivers seemed to help.

    also install your mouse from the companies websites drivers. Dont just let windows 8 install it by simply plugging it in. You need that exact drivers for best results.

    True and any special features of your mouse like adjustable polling speed, customized buttons and other things won't be available without  the proper mouse drivers installed.

    Delete the Adobe Flash Player. And install new, that helps some times.
