I cannot send private messages, why? I am using Chrome, after typing the private message and hitting the "send" button the page reloads, but the message is not posted, why? It is the same same in the IE10, even there is it not working...

Please fix it or tell me the reason, why is it so...

    Sluny

There is a workaround for this problem and that is to use the bent arrow to the right of your conversations to make replies. This solution was originally posted by DaddysKat.

Thank you very much, that worked. I still wonder, how many bugs has this game and how incompetent WGT programmers are, that they are unable to fix them. I am software developer too, If iI would make so many errors and would unable to fix them for so long, I would be long unemployed. Incredible...

Cheers sluny, all credts go to DK for the workaround.

I have no idea how easy/hard it is to fix software errors, but if there are thousands of lines of code to go through it can't be easy, can it?

Can I just say that most people on here that have problems use the Chrome browser? It's really worth trying some of the other ones to see if one of those suits you better. Different systems work differently with different browsers but there are dozens out there to choose from.

You sure can.... Google's 'webkit' mutation is a nightmare to work with, so buggy.

I use the Maxthon beta 3.5.2.600 version without any real issues at all. If the meter does get shakey, I just turf flashplayer and its all good again for a long time.

Thanks a ton for that, Scott, and to DaddysKat for figuring it out. I missed that and it's beeen a bigass aggravation having to create new PMs as responses.

Just to be clear, when responding to a PM you compose the response and hit that  or hit that first and then compose the response? Tx.

*edit-NM, there's only one place to see that-in the PM list. You read the PM, go back to the list and then respond using that. Lovely. :-(

    Jim,

I compose first so I can see what I'm responding to then I go back and copy and paste it in the workaround link thingie. If you just click that thing you can only write a post and you can't see the previous messages...... I think. It's been a while since I did it now that I think about it. :)))

*Edit* Looks like you noticed. :)

I believe DKs full solution was to reply to the incoming message in the normal post box, then to select all your reply text and copy or cut it from the post box, then go to your incoming messages, click the bent reply arrow and paste your text into the post box there. Doing it that way you can read the message you're replying to.

    (Thanks Jim).
