    Explorer Jim Bridger (1804 - 1881) ... for those of you in the US, if you ever drove down I-80, tip your hat to Jim Bridger for finding this pass.  Jim also ventured to Yellowstone" and the "Petrified Forest".  When he left the army after the war against Red Cloud, Jim would tell folks about his travels ... one of his stories was about the petrified forest, where petrified birds sat atop petrified trees and sang petrified songs!  My kind of stories ... would have loved to have heard some of his yarns!

    Happy St. Patrick's Day, everyone!  Whatever you choose to do today, please be safe!  By the way, the very first "official" St. Patrick's Day was in 1753!

    Great trivia question ... Name the only US President to be elected twice to the chair but never serve 2 consecutive terms of office?

    Edit:  Free sleeve of golf balls to the first person who can answer that question.  Hint:  He was born on 18 March.
