Sorry if this has been asked, but I'm curious.

Anyway, over the last year or so I thought and read that WGT had changed the rules to rapidly promote some players, namely credit players and players that consistently beat players in a MPC of a higher tier. Then every once in a while I run into players in the MPC format that seem to be able to never be promoted do not have a reduction in average for beating higher tiers and run rampant through the MPC format.

I would never play for credits such a player, as the advantage is far to great, depending on course the player could be driving the par 4 greens, wedging 2nd shots into par 5's, but in looking at the players history, including the MPC record, plenty of players (suckers) do.

So many players have been promoted and are forced to the back tees where they do not belong because they happened to beat a Legend or 2, many of these players can not compete from those tees and this was done by WGT  to protect some people from playing players such as I have identified, but then said players some are supposed to be protected from are somehow able to escape the rapid promotion and the reduction in average as well.

I have no issue with the player I identified, and just using that as an example, I'm not accusing the player as cheating either, just questioning why the rules apply to some and not others.

Personally I have no issue with either WGT rapidly promoting players or not, I just think whatever the rule, it should be applied consistently.

Have not a clue mate. But.... this player is using one of the oldest tricks in the book...lol.

Playing Kia. back nine... where he is going to have wedges into most greens. Biggest yardage gap nine from back tee.

Also he uses decent gear. Sooo... if he can play a bit... going to take a pretty good score from back tees.

But..... most should know that. If you can't shoot 7 under or better... shouldn't be even going near this guy.

Got to be on and wait for him to make a mistake.....lol.  Apply a touch of pressure... mistakes happen.

    ;)

Edit: And...... looking at his 27% one putt stat. I think he would fold like a cheap lawn chair after a couple of darts....lol.

Not, sure, maybe we need to ask the 166 of em he played so far and the 100 of em he beat.

To be clear, I'm only asking or just questioning why the rules apply to some and not others.

I have seen plenty of people who would of rather not been promoted complaining about being promoted to soon and I'm sure there are plenty of legends that were promoted because they beat a Legend or 2 wondering this as well.

Gerald, I would not trust that putting stat, MPC putts do not count towards stats, just the bagged ranked rounds.

You can't just go by tier.  Often times, legends will go against someone just as good as they are, will be equally or even better geared, and play with a 40-80 yard advantage every hole.  Lower tiers that are legitimately good in this game will whiz through tiers.

I fear tour masters more than legends these days.

Ok, I have my answer, the new rule regarding rapid tier promotion does not now nor has it ever applied to MPC as long as the course played is front 9 Kia.

    Baggers and MA's rejoice.

Got to love those Easter eggs.

OK cheerleaders, tell me how that's not by design, that would be an "error" that would require being programmed in not out, extremely similar to the egg I found whereby 1 hole on 1 course you can gather 25,000 xp or more in a sitting.

Who TF is being catered to around here.

I have know idea mate about the rules for tier promotion in MPC or otherwise really.

But... the way this game is setup mate the dishonest will always have a advantage.

You have to learn to deal with it. With the equipment being level based and balls costing a few a sleeve... it cost a lil money to play this game.

Sooo.... the more it cost to play this game the more people will take advantage of any situation that is present. Is what it is... and no one here to police it.

Like the wild west mate.... anything goes..... and does.

    ;)

That is a lot of XPs ... surely you were mistaken. Can you do it again and post a screen-shot of the points awarded?
