    Hi,

I have noticed since 10.1.14 that I cannot seem to reply to messages that I receive. Can type the message but when you hit the send button a bit of a checkered pattern comes up and message has not been sent.  I use Comondo Dragon and have clean computer.

    Hi Jenwren,

I use Chrome and have dealt with a work-around for several months now.  The easiest work-around is to click on the "Quick Reply" icon ... it's located to the right of the message and looks like a semi-circle with an arrow on one end.  To the right is the "Delete Message" icon, which is an "X".

The not-so-easy approach is to type your reply in the reply box of the message.  When you're done, highlight your entire response and copy ([right-click] + [Copy]   or  [Shift]+[Ins]), then click the "Return to Messages" button.  Once you're back, click the quick reply button, place your cursor in the message box and paste your response ([right-click] + [paste]   or [Ctrl] + [Ins]).

One of these days they'll fix this bug ... just don't hold your breath!

    Kat ♥

PS:  Wish ScottHope was here ... he would have saved a ton of typing with a simple screen snapshot!  A picture is worth 1,000 words!

Just sending a new message is the best work around. A lot of people seem to have this problem but Maxthon seems immune as far as I know.

Yes, new message seems to be the way to go.  Thank you for your comments.

    Thanks Scott!

To the OP:  While it is kinda easier starting a new message, previous messages won't be in your message ... so if you want the other person you're communicating with to have a clue what you're talking about, I'd suggest you copy what they said, if you're going to use the "new message" approach.

For example ... friend sends message that's titled "Hi" ... the text in the message reads:

Hey Kat!  How are you?  Can we get in a game today around 5:30?

And my sample reply, also titled "Hi"  ...

Doin' good ... how about 6?

Now if that was reversed and I received that reply as a message, I'd be wondering what you were smoking/consuming.

The best approach ... figure out a way to get WGT to fix this bug (and their antiquated messaging system) ... until then, find a work around that will work for you and the people you communicate with.  I kinda like having one message ... but if you enjoy clutter and bouncing through messages to get the drift of what's going on, go with option C!

No, no, no!!! Please do not do new message. It's lazy and rude IMO. If a friend has started a thread they're expecting an "answer" not the start of another thread.

When people start new messages, it just leads to a plethora of threads in one's inbox, making it hard to keep track of what's going on. Also, it makes it much less likely that you'll address all or any of the points in the

It finally caught up with ya...lol   It took awhile until I had the same problem.

Just thinking out aloud here, I like talking to meself sometimes...lol.   Comodo is a Chrome based browser (i think, somebody will correct me) ,  now Chrome auto loads the latest Flash update... unless you have updates turned off.

I think there is a problem with the lastest updates that affects Chrome/Comodo. Now saying that, why can we reply to messages in the Wgt Forum and not reply to PM's, using those browsers.

So it can't be totally blamed on Flash.... maybe
