To enter letters or numbers you need to click on the Notebook first so that the cursor appears. As soon as the cursor appears you will have the ability to enter data. Additionally, players can edit the Notebook only during single play games.

It would be great if you could access the notebook anytime anywhere. Would this feature be possible?

    Thanks

It's my understanding you can look at your notes for the hole you are on from any game, but you can only edit/add notes for that hole in Single play.

Can I suggest that the notebook has some graphical display to show if there is a note to be read about a hole. Most my notes are blank but rather than checking every hole it would be good if it showed that there was a note for this hole.

I also find it highly annoying that you can't enter "updated" notes, after playing a specific hole. Once you hit "Return" from scoreboard, you're on to next hole. And you might have additional notes to add to existing one. But that is not possible.

A notebook is carried in my backpocket IRL - and I can update existing notes or make new ones about the hole - both before and after I make the stroke at current location.

Seems only natural to me, that it would also be the case for the IGN notebook.

You actually access it by clicking on the notebook icon. It's located to the right of your WGT Nation flag at the top left of your game screen.

I listed many of the drawbacks to it in my reply to your other thread on this same subject.

Save your credits, use Excel and / or Word (or other similar programmes which are available) they're free and available whenever you want. DaddysKat has a wonderful note programme with calculators built in, speak to her.

You ought to be able to scroll through every hole on the course. It's also annoying that it thinks that same holes are different depending on where you play them. So I made a note about a hole on STA and when I played that hole on BoF my notes weren't there.

My current notes are a mixture of Excel and paper so for 500C I consider this more convenient.

I recently upgraded to VGG Caddy 5.0 and 5.0 includes a simple notebook - 1 page for each golf course.

I can access and edit it in multi-player games and after I have finished a hole and there does not seem to be any number of character limitations.
