  I’m going to keep this very brief. I want to sincerely apologies for all the outrages and, rude comments as well as personal assaults made against some very respected members of wgt by one of our FORMER Elite CC members – “do I really need to mention his name..” CharlemagneRH”. I Have REVOKED his membership. Again, it would take up a HUGE amount of “having fun - playing the game” if I personally write everyone affected by this an apology letter, so again- ALL my fellow WGT Members- Please accept my sincere apology for such RUDE – INCONSIDERATE - CHIDESH – DOWN RIGHT MEAN, DISRESPECTFUL BEHAVIOR by our FORMER member – which I don’t have the stomach to mention his name again. One last tidbit –I knew before signing this person up to join TECC that he had some serious issues, but I thought maybe…juuust maybe I could help him – NOT to be SOOO egotistical and rude.  I reached out - only to get burned. It happens. If it didn’t- were not living, Thank you everyone - overtheedge

  And, as any reasonable person knows, it's not me that's been mean, disrespectful, inconsiderate, egotistical, or rude.

Maybe he will realize the error of his ways and change. Ive always heard when you think everyone is crazy, its really yourself that needs to be committed to the crazy ward of the hospital and he seems to always be the center of controversy. Maybe when he gets banned for multiple accounts his new account will be more humble.

  Once again, the egomaniac there was Bolloxi, iconian, etc., not myself.  I very clearly stated that the "undisputed master of Kiawah" in my profile was a joke and that I could not beat Bolloxi on Kiawah more times than he'd beat me.

  You booted me because, in an egotistical tirade, Bolloxi flipped out even though I clearly admitted that he was better than me, and seeing as you have a fondness of Bolloxi's backside, you booted me in order to please him.

  Look dude I don't even know bollux, never played a round with him. I don't know icon, never played a round with him. To defend them has no reward to me whatsoever. I do know an egotistical idiot when I see one and anybody who's been in an online community of this size for only a month (now 3 months) has no business rumbling the forums like a troll. You have nearly as many forum posts as you do rounds played and half of them are bitching about the game being to hard. If that's the type of person you prefer to be that's fine. I'm all for freedom of thought/speech and you are entitled to it. But when you create chaos among the community then that's just plain disruptive and you top it off by publicly breaking the rules of the game. You obviously log in on both accounts and I am sure you will be banned for your actions, which you deserve. BTW, just to cure my curiosity are you just a gamer or do you respect the game of golf?

  I am both a gamer and a golfer.

  As to your assertion that you do not know Bollox, just 24 hours prior to his temper tantrum, you had posted on his profile, asking him if you thought it was possible to merge Deviations and your CC, MIA.  I was obviously considered an obstacle in the way of that happening.  My crime was having the audacity to put a joke in my profile and to explain, after someone with no sense of humor whatsoever asked about it, that I was not actually the best, but did consider myself very good, which the egos of Bollox, icon, et al. subsequently couldn't handle*, and seeing as how you were trying to make buddybuddy with them, you swiftly booted me.

   

  *  It should be no surprise to anyone that icon and Ivietri are obviously once again offended over comments that I've made... this time over me saying that bostonceltics1 is either as good or almost as good as icon.  I have never seen egos so fragile that they can't hear "I think x is almost as good as y" without throwing temper tantrums, talking about how x and y aren't even in the same league and should never be compared, even though x clearly is almost as good as y.  To be honest, I think you could probably find more mentally stable people at a forum devoted to emo music than you could in all of the "The Deviations" CC.

  Nice apology by overtheedge ... class act.

  I doubt anyone has had, or will have, any issues with you or the other members of your country club regarding this issue.  

  Your comments and Jason's post should be a warning to others trying to build a CC and group of golfers who respect each other and the game.  1) Put a membership committee in place 2) have an application process set up and 3) do some G2 on prospective members before you just let people in your club.   It helps make the club something special.

  Thank you Ivietri. There are times in everyone’s life that we make mistakes. Some very big, others very small  but, in either circumstance a REAL MAN steps up ands says two simple words, that at times are so hard to say because they make a real man look into himself -  those 2 words are - I'm sorry. There is not 1 among us that is squeaky clean, and if they think they are, then they must be on a pedestal higher then all of us, but that’s ok. Lets hope for a cure to this virus. That’s all it's been (virus)since the 1^st account. Let me close with this – There is only one obligation we have to ourselves, and that is, to be true to thy self. TY everyone for your understanding and support – Your friend, edge
