New Flash 12.0

  YankeeJim:

  What's the ticker? I've only used CD since it came out and don't remember anything like that. 

  When you right click on it do you get the menu with Adblock in it? That's where you block ads but Adblock has to walk you through it after you chose it from the drop down that pops up

  Nope ... right clicking on the golf ticker with Adblock Plus doesn't give you an option to block the ticker.

  It did for me.  Just unblocked to double check it.

   

  Whey you right-click on the ticker, then hover over AdBlock on the sub-menu select block this ad.

  Is the PM's working in Chrome with Flash Version 12

  I have the 11.9.900.170 version of flash player on chrome and i have disable peperflash, but still my meter is awfull. Hard to play well and enjoy with  that.

  The new version is better ?

  How can i update t the new 12.0 version  ?

  Now I know what you're talking about and Adblock does fix that-it did for me. When you right click on it in the menu that pops up you should see a choice for Adblock. Clicking on the 2nd option will take you to an interface that's fairly straightforward. You won't get the option to block the ad directly, you have to let Adblock figure it out with your help.  They walk you through. Worked for me.  :-)

  I've played with Chrome last months and worked well. But today, new flash player and unplayable, jumpy meter.

  When I loaded CD for the first time in like forever, I had ads all over the place ... so I did a search for AdBlock and saw the link for it and AdBlock Plus.  I mistakenly loaded AdBlock Plus.   It did a great job getting rid of the ads, just wouldn't remove the ticker.

  After reading all the "right-click" AdBlock comments, I went back and installed AdBlock, then removed AdBlock Plus.  That did the trick.

  Thanks all ... just make sure you load AdBlock and not AdBlock Plus if you wish to get rid of the ticker.

  I play with Comodo Dragon with SRware Iron as a back-up Both are smooth as silk with the new flash 12.0. And no flash crashes. But even with the last version I got none with CD or Iron.

  I watch the videos and check the forums and anything else on here with Pale Moon. So far no flash crashes with it. I was getting quite a few with Pale Moon with the last Flash version.
