I enjoy the sounds of golf and the birds etc. but it, in some circumstances, gets ruined by the added sound efx of the function buttons (zoom, club selection, etc) They sound like BIPP BIPP SWIT etc. I don't know if there is a way to mute those.

Also, today I was making a long putt with a hill in my fore so only from over the shoulder shot could I see the slope lines but my avi was solid and I couldn't see the moving slope indicator lines. That's the 1st time I've noted that issue.

Another cool thing would be to be able to choose a blitz group of selected numbers like ONLY 3 people.

Also, the blue inicator on my friends who 'are ready' in my list doesn't indicate what kind of game they desire, I wondered if I'm missing something there. Sometimes I see my friend is ready for a game but I don't know what kind of game to invite them to.

To answer your first question, from the game settings option, if you select the audio tab you can adjust the sounds.

I used that tab all the time because I like club vol, ambient sounds (wind waves) and I like envir. sounds (waves planes) but no adjustment variation or muting of these seem to silence the unnatural sound of clicking on club selection BOOP BOOP or the camera zoom SWITT SWITT function buttons.

I enjoy this game and consider it challenging and I believe it's an highly advanced learning program. I promote it to many of my friends and try to get anyone who might care to play it.

Maybe another cool simple feature would be a FRINGE indicator light, even though the computer usually informs 'on the fringe' sometimes it doesn't but it looks like you are from the image, but I don't know if the computer 'knows' it. You have to hit  lil harder if you are.

So, if it the text doesn't say 'on the fringe', but it obviously looks like the ball is on the fringe from the image, are you on??

Turn your avatar round 180 degrees, the grid still shows back to the hole and your avatar will not block the view.

Thanks, I will try this and it will help my game. Sorry because I'm a little new to this

P.S. throw in a mute for the loud DINNG! also, and I would love that as many of my shots are INTENTIONAL hooks or slices - pulls and pushes for several rewarding reasons. (several pro golfers have commented how favorable this technique can be)

If I could mute the function buttons' sounds and leave the birds and club sounds on I would play the game audio thru my big speakers and maybe my close ones would be more attracted to playing.  haha

The option to RENAME A REPLAY would be nice, also. ..Help sort out replays as sometimes you rush to name the saved shot. (e.g. "whoooHooo! yeah baby")

(point #1) I think the putts should default to a see-thru player as there is no good reason to leave the avatar solid.

A few times lately I have been blocking the moving dots (and I know there are ways to move the avatar by moving the aim, but that is not desired much at all i.e. you're moving your aim point and that is what is being adjusted with each view and consideration).

I know there are many issues that need to be worked on by the programmers, but if that is an easy one, i vote for that fix.

Other times the avatar is see-thru so I would just program the player to be transparent on the green.

(point #2) I also vote again to have a mute option for function buttons sounds like zoom, club select.

A great advantage would be that I would play my WGT without headphones (the beeping annoys other people in the house).....

(point #2b) and the game would get more attention!! IMO; if you can select that only club hits, birds and natural sounds were audible.

Plus, the sounds on zoom (switt switt) are basically not required. Club selection sounds, beep boop, may have a better case, but still the option to mute it would be nice. (see point #2b) I can see the camera change.

    summary:

#1) I think the putts should default to a see-thru player

#2) I also vote again to have a mute option for function button unnatural sounds like zoom, and other boops and beeps
