I have noticed that 99% of the people that post a replay the link is in green letters, sometimes mine or in black letters, which means you have to highlight the link in order to get to it. Does anyone know why my links come up with black letters?
Thanks
Gary (woodo)
A link that is 'active' (green text) has what is called an anchor tag (HTML) attached to it but if your text is black, then it doesn't have that tag attached.
If you want to create an active link, just highlight the word/s that you want to be clickable and then click the 'insert/edit link' icon at the top of the post box and insert your URL into the dialogue box.
Hi Woodo, you need to post your link to the replay, and then highlight it again in the reply box here, like below. When you have it highlighted, click on the "insert/edit link" box as in the picture below as well. A box will open up with the link URL, and you then paste the link in there, and click insert. You then do the usual "post" at the bottom of the reply.

Good man Scott, you got there before me, lol.
I did this time by the look of it, I usually get beaten to it by Alosso. ; ) But the more posts there are the better I think.
Here is a post I sent to the icon request for scorecards and replays for Pebble Beach CTTH
Well, here is my contribution, score card was not too impressive...

What I did, is went to the replay hit copy, then highlighted the link and saved it. When I posted it, well you see what I got. That is the same procedure I do all the time ,and sometimes it does come up green. Just confused
That works ok, thanks guys, never had to do an insert/edit link thing before.
