Which green is best to practice chip & pitch shots - my short game needs work (need a wide & /flat green).

I know that this question has been answered before but I have spent the last 30 minutes trying to find it in the SEARCH BOX & can't.

Shortest way is on the Par3 course - just try to miss the greens.

Yep, and if you do it in "practice" mode,  you have the mulligans to really get some good practice in.  Well, if you hole one, the mulligan is done for that hole. ;-)

You could start on Kiawah Island course around the greens and also Saint Andrews around the fairways. After that try a little Bethpage. For some really hard shots try Olympic & Merion. You'll play better after trying those

Don't forget the flop and punch options, they are just as important.

A great green for doing this is BPB3. So is #4.  Set up a practice game so you get mulligans.

While not a perfectly flat green I use BPB 17, a par 3, to practice on. Lots of rough, heavy rough, and bunkers surrounding the green to practice.

Like Alosso said, just whack it near the green off the tee into the rough or bunkers and use mulligans. Then when you want to try a different shot, hit the ball to a different location without using the mulligan and continue on without leaving the hole.

BTW, the mulligan feature is available with the single hole play: WGT Community, golf courses.

Don't forget - Each mulligan counts as -2 hits from ball durability.

Yep, a small price to pay IMHO, but is a great point to bring up in case somebody didn't know it.

Much better than trying to hit the ball back to the same spot to try a different shot or just seeing if you get the same results hitting it the same way again.

Thanks to everyone who responded - esp YankeeJim and Edjaws who actually answered my question. (Alosso - close but no cigar!)
