Don't forget, Mulligans count as two ball hits each time so maybe use a cheap ball.

Thanks to everyone who responded - esp YankeeJim and Edjaws who actually answered my question. (Alosso - close but no cigar!)

Actually Alosso's idea is the cheapest (in ball hits).

    EdJaws:
BTW, the mulligan feature is available with the single hole play: WGT Community, golf courses.

Unless you are a hack or amateur using the single hole option on the WGT Community page won't help much. Big difference chipping and pitching on the standard green speeds there than there is chipping and pitching on tourney greens,Even in the practice mode if you don't set up the green speeds to match the speeds you play most often the practice won't be that good

Use the cheaper balls both 10 cent variety that will basically mimic the higher end balls in this format. The fundamental thing you want to go away with is the basic idea of how the ball will react when it hits the green, and coming out of the rough, the balls characteristics are reduced to its minimum potential, so it does not cost you so much when what you want is the essence of what the pitch and chip requires from you. :)

    Wheels65:

Which green is best to practice chip & pitch shots - my short game needs work (need a wide & /flat green).

I know that this question has been answered before but I have spent the last 30 minutes trying to find it in the SEARCH BOX & can't.

Very strange question from a player with CG wedges in hand?! The pitch 17y is the only one to use and the best around! Always stops in few feet with max backspin. In normal condition u made ALWAYS 16y. Just move bs for uphill greens and shorter shot for downhill. For longer shots use full shot or flop shot, depending on how is the green. Byeeee
