WGT has cancer

  It's a sticky situation BOFF, I realize no matter what they do that not everyone will be happy.  It would be nice if the player base were large enough to support tier specific ready go's, but unfortunately that seems like a long way off.

   

   I'm not gonna *** and moan too much, but as I said early, I will not be playing any ready go tournaments, so long as I am using the same equip as the ppl playing drastically shorter courses.   I play them solely for the competition aspect, I got all the credits I could ever need.  And for me personally, it's rather embarrassing getting beat by people with half the amount of skill I have.

  I'm having fun hitting off the championship tee, into 31 MPH winds, trying to get a ball to stop on unstable tournament greens.  I thought variety was the spice of life yet we're stuck with only tournament and very fast greens.  WGT forgot that the very slow green at Bethpage was very challenging and the score that that ready go were never too low.  It's a shame that great players such as yourself can't play ready go's because it's now unfair for the legends.  WGT punished all the so call legends for being faithful to their product.  I usually only play ready go so I'm going to keep on keeping on living with being beaten by a bunch of tour master with the same skills as myself hitting from 50-60 yards closer than me.

  Boff, the difference for a guy like BB and other legends playing in the old Ready Go's is that their main competition were other top tier players who put a whole lot of time into become a top tier player.  A Pro jumping into a Ready Go took there chances.  The results were never hidden, you can check to see who won what, and what that persons skill was.  Now, people like BB and others (including myself) are playing very well from the new tees but getting beat by lesser players because they have the ability to play 50-70yds closer to the hole.  Example, Kiawah # 10, 12 and 13, under the old system I would have wedge approach on 10, on 12 a mid to mid  long iron, and on 13 a 9 iron at most.  Under new system the master and tour master have the same shots but I have a 4-6 iron approach on 10, a 4 to hybrid iron approach on 12 and a 5 to 3 iron approach on 13.  I man the 5th at Kiawah was tough, trying hitting 3 iron or hybrid into the green.

  yeh; i feel the same way; tryin 2 get u 2 spend money on clubs!; hey have u seen the way the economy is?? they know what there doin; tryin 2 have everybody 2 catch 1 another that is all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  WGTLS, what a joke. Someone should start a thread titled, "WGTLS has Cancer". That place isn't worth a pewter nickle.

  A warning to all WGT members, STAY AWAY! from the WGTLS web site. False accusations will come upon you.

   

  To WGT,

  You should strip all WGT logos, banners, and names from the WGTLS web site. Their going to give the WGT web site a bad name with the liars and hypocrites running that operation over there.

  here are my stats...some of you like me some of you hate me..this is what i did in my free time over the last year no matter what site is good or bad..it was all played through wgt..i will not swing at 1 more ball until there is a change..if no change i will gift what i have left to some friends who decide to stick around..prob. wont be many...they said i matter but get bent..so to speak..im done with this thread and this game..4 those who stay,i do wish you the best..

  I would have never thought I would say this but I am starting to hate this site. Not even sure why I have short wedges anymore. I find myself fighting to save par most of the time, way to really screw something up. God, its not like I am asking for much, a driver that hits 290-295. Make it fair, well let me tell you something life is not fair and you cannot create equality in anything that requires talent. As much as I play I will never be as good as BB or Avatar Lee....I am fine with that but a tour master beating BB, BULLSHOT! You thrust us into this friggin category and say ohhh its fair even though the masters now have the same equipment as you and shot from shorter tee's. Why not create a fog of war effect while your at it so we really cannot see the green way ahead of us as well.  

   

  I feel better but am still pissed!

  Icon and I obviously aren't as proud as BB :-), mainly due to the fact we're (edit) highly skilled credit whores...

  WGT has made an incredible amount of money – much more then they anticipated in this short period of time. This (WGT) was 1 persons idea, which turned into a virtual $ GREEN$ monster. It was an idea that became a goal. Well my friends- that goal has been achieved. These are entrepreneurs. These are goal setters. These are men that like the challenge. These are men that think and react on a positive level. AND – These are gentlemen / owners / entrepreneurs that will get fed up with the bickering, moaning, complaining, and ALLL the negative feed back and guess what - one morning , afternoon, evening, middle of the night, or whatever time we will go to log on and, the course wont be closed for “Maintenance” it will be closed permanently .( PLEASE- DON’T THINK IT CAN’T HAPPEN…PLEASE) AND YES IT IS – bickering and moaning. Even when it is reiterated at the beginning of a post “ I’m not going to b…tch and moan but” – well right there – those 8 words – You have already started to b…tch and moan. I think we all forget what we came here for in the first place-Not to play a game of golf  but -  to play a golf game .To fill in some down time..to get away from the wife..LOL – just kidding ladies. I have a beautiful wife that I love being around. Then before you know it, the cool little feature of meeting new people and competing against friends in a pleasant round of golf. Laughing, joking and genuinely having fun. It took me forever to reach “ Master Level” and I mean FOREVER. Determination will achieve any goal Please my friends and fellow wgt memebers Lets get on with it – I am determined once more to achieve yet another goal and that goal is Legend. Then the Greatest time of all-  to battle my way once more threw the ranks and  become a competitive Legend. I have to close with this. With ALL due respect my friends - Lets let go of the egos and step up to the challenge. TY my fellow wgt members. Edge
