Says you can now access the course notebook without being in a game. How is that done, this way I can transcribe the notes I have before I get on the course.

I was wondering the same thing. Also, when can you actually type the note - Immediately following a shot, or after the hole is completed? I play off-the-cuff (no notes, pals, calculations, etc.) and now find that I want to keep notes on holes for future reference. Each week, I've been going through countless balls in whatever no-wind 9 hole tourney is up, just making notes, restarting, and making more notes until I have the right idea for the shots/clubs needed. I'd love the notebook, but I've seen too many people complaining about it's use.

OH just figured it out. Click the play now button. When the screen comes up, under explore all courses, click see all. The courses will come up with the notebook icon next to them. Click on the one you want.

The upgrade (polite for defect correction) is welcomed,

It still seems to badly lack a general notes section though.

If I need a quick reminder about some generic sand shot for example there is no general notes section?

I liked the idea of having everything (well to the extent I mostly care) in the game client screen, but no general notes facility at the back I can look at same on any course???? Maybe I am missing something?? Hope so:)

And you don't have to use extra symbols to separate your words now. Now I can start using this like it was intended.

Good update on the notebook WGT !

Thanx for figuring that out and sharing and suprisingly it actually works(""for now"")

Now it would be nice if you could go to hole info and be able to copy and paste the section you want to your notebook.

Lastly does any 1 know yet if you can now access your notebook while waiting for your shot so you can start deciding what and how to hit.

Have been wanting to get a notebook but have been waiting for all the kinks to get worked out. My question is can i erase notes in the book as needed, Say for instance when i change tiers, buy new clubs or balls, or whatever.

you after others, let's say, to copy notes from a club forum to their notebook?  that's a cool teaching idea I suppose.  Just wondering what ya meant by copy/pasting.  from where being copied and by whom.  Interesting idea if I have it str8.

    cheers

edit below - found something in a notebook suggestion thread - which is probably what you meant.....I think :)  - not having one myself I'm a bit confused (what's new eh?) - but do like to follow along so that when all the boxes are checked with good answers I'll go grab one :)

First, if notes exist for a hole (such as STA H17), then those notes should carry to any Best Of courses that also feature that hole. To need to enter those notes two or three (or more!) times is aggravating.

These are good changes, but the notebook is still useless to me as I play mainly multi-player games and can't add notes while playing.

I'm not going to takes notes on paper, then have to start a game to enter my notes.  Waste of my time.

So for me personally, this notebook was and still is a useless piece of excrement and a waste of credits.

WGT:  please replace my notebook with 2 sleeves of Lethal balls and we can call it even.
