A most excellent and competitive round of 18 holes on Kiawah Island with Derbyshire CC's mickcharvill, a great bloke to share a round with! Despite some WGT gremlins and having to restart the back nine it otherwise went pretty smoothly and was able to eke out a 66-68 win for FAPC!

Match report from clash of titans at Kiawah:

BenderVanFender (UKGE) - Mike3226 (English Lakes), final score 60-60.

Mike had barely got his coat off and was already sitting at -8 against my -6 after front 9. Then things started to get even and the game was tied after #15. Mike regained the lead by birdying #16 but then again I birdied #17. On the final hole both of us missed 20ft putts by just a few inches, so it could have gone either way.

A fair competition and a fair result, thanks very much for the game!
