  Not sure why you cannot save a current game, log out, edit equipment, like balls, then resume the game. Pretty idiotic to me.

  They are still allowed to have more than one ball in their bag. (Not counting those shitty free balls which the system defaults to when your ball dies.) It would be logical that you could add an existing ball when it dies if you aren't allowed to edit after starting a game.

  not that u can use though they have some kind of one ball rule they just give u the starters to keep from getting DQ'ed in a tournie

  all u can do is buy more before u run out

  pro tournaments have a 1-ball rule eg start using a "pro v1" , you cannot change to a "pro v1x" 

  wgt should allow diff balls in practice mode.

  Agree about the 1 ball rule....make sense!

  What doesn't make sense is the bunker shot in this virtual game!.......Sure , you can gauge where to land the ball and let it roll out, but that is an educated guess & you sometimes end up way far or less depending on aspects of the green.....!

  But, I know from real life that I (as well as many real life golfers ) can hit that crisp sand shot & make it spin & stop dead on a lot of occasions. the WGT software folks should see this as part of a real golf situation & allow spin on WGT bunker shots......

  he didnt say practice mode either cause you cant save a game in practice

  The one ball rule is certainly the main factor but I suppose WGT knows about players with no integrity as well. Imagine teeing off with extra distance ball then stopping and changing to the extra spin for the approach shot. If we could do it, lots of folks would be doing it every hole because they can't help themselves to have a complete lack of Golf integrity.

  You can't expect gentleman golfers' integrity (1) here - it's but an online PC game. Furtheron, there's not much proof for the company's care about said integrity - apparently their focus is on other subjects.

  And, to me, invariably, the reason for "no ball change" is the no-options doctrine.

  (1) uh? Aren't half of the official golf rules prohibitive against gentleman's cheating?
