How about adding a up and down arrow to the right of the ball that each click moves the spin on the ball in 1/8 increments, meaning 8 clicks on the down arrow gets you to full back spin.

It certainly needs more options. Even a dial would be better.

It is possible to do this but you need to enable 'mouse keys' on your computer. Once enabled, move the mouse cursor onto the spin dot, lock the left mouse key down using the 'lock mouse button' then hit the down arrow key the required number of times then hit the 'click' key to unlock the mouse button. That gives me about 20 clicks from center ball to full backspin.

Admittedly, it's a little clumsy, but it works.

    More mouse keys info HERE.

How about adding spin to the most glaring glitch by the WGT software team......Spin on a dinged bunker shot!

....I've posted on this subject before, in real golf i can easily stop a ball dead & sometimes back it up with a crisp bunker shot!....here on WGT, its all about judging the roll of the ball & heaven forbid if you are faced with a downhill bunker shot....in an alt or match play game, its a sure loss of a hole...

Cmon team, you took the spin off the "wedge on the green" shot easily enough. Seems to me it should be just that easy to add the spin on a correctly played bunker shot....

    My thoughts..

You can do that too(well close to a dead stop) by aiming way left and hitting way past the ding....

Would it be asking too much to see a demonstration please Dan?

I much prefer having 40 total adjustment steps than just 8 or 16.

I don't use the mouse keys feature and didn't know there 40 steps, but because I Zoom In to adjust ball spin I noticed early on that there were many discrete steps for adjusting ball spin.

IMO, you'd be turning this into an arcade game of sorts. It's like expecting to be able to hit the ball dead center on one specific groove in a club. C'mon.
