Question about the WGT Tour!!

  Ok so I played January's event as a Legend. This tour is 12 months long and based on how you do in each event.. So what happens when I hit Tour Legend at some point within the next couple months? Will I stay in the legend tier and keep my points or will I start playing in the Tour Legend tier and my points transfer over? Only reason I ask is because in the IOA I took 6th place and won 1800 while the 6th place finisher in Tour Legend won around 2400ish I believe.. So if I get transfered over I feel like the points wont be fair..

  I believe that you will play at whatever tier you are/were when you entered that month's tournament, since the "tour" tournaments are new each month. I could be wrong. I am in the same boat, but TL is probably a longer ways off for me. I've passed the 500 rr's as a Legend, so now it's just a matter of time. Congrats on the 6th place place finish, too. Awesome.

  Thank you.. But as it is a tourny every month and your finish depends on how many points you get for the whole tour.. Icon is the only person I guess who can answer this question.. I'm hoping that whatever tier you started playing the 1st event at is what you stay at. Or else the points you accumulate as a legend won't be enough to compete once you get to the tour legend tournies.

  equally, your score of 99.56 would have finished 20th in the upper tier.

   

  I was about to say ....... surely it's a year long single leaderboard where credits earned throughout all tournaments are added up, with the weighting quite rightly being given to the higher tiers

  but then hey ... it's somehow an individual tier competition ..... start a hack in the first comp ... a legend by the last comp ..... :) only on wgt ... ah well

  Never assume that WGT knows what it is doing. :-)
