Constantly being told error or screen going to blue and having to go back and try and get in to continue game.  This is happening every day now NOT just once in awhile. I wrote about this very same issue a few days ago after playing 8 holes and not  being able to finish game after all that time.Once you try to get back in after 3 ices your done! I've been a member over a year now level 92 and spent  a good deal of money so I expect some type of reply as to what your issues are. You advertise 7 million players so lets get on the ball and get this system where it should be!!!!

    hi

these are end user issues... i would recommend clearing system's flash and browsers temp files and cache and perhaps cookies. I would also recommend trying different browsers until you find one that works best for you.

    just in case ...

Your browser saves files used in the game on your computer in a cache.

Click Here for instructions on clearing your cache.

Flash also saves files on your computer in its cache.

Click Here to clear your Flash cache.  Click on the delete all sites.

Note you will need to reset all your game options after clearing the caches.

... screen going to blue ...

    Key phrase right there.

If this is a reference to the old "blue screen of death", this ain't a WGT problem. It's a computer problem. And Icon's post is no script.

As a developer myself, when I hear the words "blue screen", I'm not going to spin my wheels looking at my code when I have a PC with totally unknown characteristics exhibiting this behavior.

I understand folks in this business might not understand this, but think of it as a consumer complaining about a product they are misusing. I'm not suggesting the OP is misusing WGT, but rather pointing out the concept of a manufacturer being held accountable for a product that is not malfunctioning or isn't defective.

I know this particular situation isn't exactly that cut and dry, however, when a user says "blue screen", I would first ask, are all users experience this? Half the users? If this is the only user, I have to suspect the user's computer first. It's just the nature of the business. Way too many variables to immediately point to the software.

Troubleshooting is a game of deduction. But it's a difficult game to play when half of the equation is out of your control.

Check your computer for: viruses, malware, lots of old temp internet files. auto-complete trash, lots of applications running in the background, etc. In short , make sure you do necessary routine computer maintenance.

Here are several things you might consider taking advantage of

IIRC, it's 7 million rounds played, not 7 million current active players.

It's interesting that players having issues related to their computer performance or complaining about some other aspect often type blocks of text devoid of paragraphs.
