    Hi everyone

We will have a short downtime (maintenance, not product release) tonight starting 10pm PDT. It shouldn't be more than 2 hours.

    Happy hitting:)

Have you noticed that the big meter spikes are normally in places where you can lose balls.

Yes.  Kiawah 17th and Congressional 10th (? the par 3 water hole) very frequently seem to spike for me resulting in a ball in the drink.  More frequently it seems than on holes without water hazards.

think this site needs more than maintenance, been trying to play for three days with out any interruptions.  never seen so may problems on a site.  think wgt needs to hire some new techs.

I don't begrudge WGT for wanting to make a profit, but the meter spikes near water hazards and OB are obviously programmed and represent a cynical approach that disrespects the player and detracts from the integrity of the game.

Having said that, I've emailed customer service a few times when it's happened and they've replaced the lost ball without question...which actually provides further evidence that the spike really is programmed.  I'd like to see it eliminated, but realize it's probably not going to happen.

Pierre:  Do not say that here!! Or you get out the Knights Templar, The guardians of the Holy Grail, The defenders of WGT who will attack you. And accuse you of total foolishness . They will ask you if you are wearing a tin foil hat. They will say that WGT would never DO THAT!! They will tell you that you are not good enough for that to happen to you! It is all your fault! So be very careful and be prepared.

LOL,  if they would have dropped it to L98, there'd be one more sucker right here. ;-)

The new L85 Nike driver rated at....... 282 yards.  LMAO.  What's with this 282 yd business?
