Yep YJ, that perception is based on my putting. I suck at putting and reading the greens, so any roll out is not good for me.
I guess I should say I only play this game for FUN. I don't take notes on paper, just what I can/can't remember. I don't know how much 1/2 b.s. will slow the ball vs full b.s. I don't have notes on how far my CG64 goes w/o, 1/2, full, 3/4 ect back spin. To take these kind of note is not fun for me.
I don't use putter or shot pal. I have taken the time to map my clubs using avatar movement only and not by hitting the club and getting actual yardage. Again, not much fun for me. Besides, I cant get enough dings to get good readings. I do use a calculator for shots from the rough and putting.
I don't play practice rounds, just ranked rounds. 90% of which are multiple player games. I like to play this game and other video games with other people and not by myself.
I don't practice my shots, or my putting.
I guess I'm just a seat of the pants golfer. So, for me, I need to rely on less putting and using the flop vs chip or pitch seem to work for me. Maybe when my average gets saturated and is not affected by bad rounds I will try the pitch, chip and punch more often.
Thanks though.
