Hey golfers, I am new and a real hacker. Could you tell me what you would advise to improve my game, besides practice, practice, practice.  I am playing everyday, but would you advise getting new putter, balls, driver, or whatever makes the game easier. I don't want to spend money, just plan on using the credits to upgrade. I've been watching videos, and taking surveys, or trying to, but only have 137 credit points, and not gaining on them very fast.

Thank you so much to anyone who would take the time to read this and give me advise.  May the good Lord Bless you much !!!

I hear WGT gives new players a MAX driver which is an improvement over the beginners and starters we started with.

I know a few players including Legends who play with starter equipment and they do fine . . . it's all down to what you're used to.

If you're on a very low budget I would recommend the WGT B-ES balls at 10 credits a sleeve . . . they'll give you a bit of back spin which may improve your game.

So far you are on the right track , as far as earning credits .Now for the bad news . If you want to get better , you will have to practice . You have to learn ball placement , course management , shot selection , and most importantly , how to putt , and read the greens . Thats just the way it is . If you put your time in , you will become a better player . Its not all about the clubs or balls . Its about learning , and knowing how to play the courses . Good luck with your game , I wish you well . Also welcome to WGT . :-)

Thanks guys,   Guess the thing I am struggling most with is the timing on the meter. Didn't know if different balls or clubs would slow the meter down.

Yes they do, indicated by the "feel" characteristics. You may notice that even the heart ball that you play currently will slow down the swing. Not by pure chance, extra feel will cost extra credits here.

This being a commercial site, everything making the game better and easier will cost you. You want to play "free"? Progress will be slow and cost some time of your life.

Furtheron, any investments will almost inevitably bring you to a point where more investment will be necessary: Master tier.

    Thus any advice is difficult.

It's gratuitous to tune your system for a meter as smooth as possible.

Decent wedges for a better short game cost you once (Ping lvl 41 or ATV lvl 39).

Decent balls for slower meter (starting with Tour SD, Srixon, lvl 33 Callaway) cost you with each shot.

Anyway, you should have lots of one "golfers' virtue": Patience.

    Have fun!

I would recommend the g-12s wgt balls , 64 credits a sleeve they slow the meter down but its like anything the more you pay the better you get.

    cheers ycfc

    Likewise to you!

play, play, play, play, play. Try anything, anything, anything. Try everything, everything, everything. Learn punch, flop, pitch, chip. Then try it again. You can try prayer, but it seems that the creator has no time or interest in wgt. Just you and the other stuff will work.
