Firstly, they can't just use brand names, the manufacturer has to give permission.

Secondly, why?  There are already more clubs than you can shake a shitty stick at, at every price and level.  The brand has absolutely no influence on how the shot will play out.  It could as well say Walmart Super Special Extra Crappy as Nike VR Forged, the result would be the same.

I can understand it would be nice to have the same set here as you play in real life but other than that there's no reason for anything new.

That would be a novelty for me...my 1950 MacGregor oil hardend 4 wood, my 1960s Bulls-eye putter and my M29 Mizuno irons. Sign me up.

A set of old style clubs has been suggested before.  Give them the attributes of modern gear but make them hickory shafted, wooden headed and give them the proper names.   It shouldn't be beyond the WGT techies to give us graphics to match.  Hmmm, what am I saying?

How cool would it be to post that you used your Mashie Niblick to hit your Featherie to within 2 feet of the cup though?

Been suggested by me and several others as well, would love to have a set of real woods and some vintage blades, and maybe SweetiePie's Bullseye or a Wilson 8802.  With the tournaments they were testing recently with club restrictions a Vintage Tournament Series could be a blast, or a Hickory Golf series ....

    a Wilson 8802.

My Father has been a collector for 40+ years. He has about everthing one could imagine, and one you can't...an Arnold Palmer-Wilson-8802 (like Crenshaw's "little Ben") that is a virgin, still in the original box...in a safe. LOL...not the re-do, copy...the real deal.
