Best driver to buy at level 48?

  Which driver would you recommend at level 48...atm Iam a 73 pro.

  This is a no brainer - Level 48 R1 will last you all the way to and let you play well from  Legend tees.  If someone suggests anything else, I would be amazed to hear they weren't joking.

  I agree, however, they are quite steep in price....what would be your second choice?

  Second choice wait til the G20 at 58.

  If you are looking at cost consider this - you WILL want to replace the Max Driver as you progress, but the R1 will last you long enough to offset replacing the Max with a 270 yd driver (which the R1 still will outperform by the way).

  I took all of you guys advice and bought the R1 with some free credits that I had.....was -2 going into the 8th finished at par in the front 9 of bethpage....first time

  You won't be disappointed

  I just made Legend recently and there are times where I think a new driver would be nice, but it is not needed to make the fairway.
