Jimbog1964:
Have you put this effort in? L90 and 120 RRs says it's unlikely you have put yourself out much, but only you know.
Looks like you play mostly A/S - great fun but no way to refine! All above why I can easily say it's not the game stopping you, and why blaming it is so utterly ridiculous. Defending WGT with your preparation, and therefore woe is me fairy dust, need it on a plate easily attacking it would not even raise a yawn. How else do I say it? Putting down a KFC and wondering why you can't win a yard dash against well prepared athletes?? Just gotta put in teh hard yards or go enjoy A/S and nothing wrong with the latter. Not being rude but the excellent players debating debating fine lines is simply not where you are currently at. Put in the hard yards, get to that and by all means debate the fine lines. As it is it's ridiculous.
Jim:
I have a lot of respect for you and your game. And I am sure you have put in the hard time and yards. And I am truely trying to understand why you continue to refuse the idea that no matter how much you chart or play this game will only allow certain players to get to the top!! It is a business based on selling Balls and Equipment!
The last time I posted here you told me I needed to change my Nike balls and use Cally's which I did. You suggested I get a better set of irons which I did! You or Yankee Jim suggested a better putter (Rossa) done. Now my game is really improving!!!! In fact I am leading a CC. Tournament now. But WHY?? Same 23% 1 putt player? Do you think that the game forces you to claw your way up the ladder and once you reach a certain level it rewards you with LOW Scores? I will give you a example. I shot a round in my CC. tournament which was good enough to put me in 1st place. At Kiawah only a -6 under but I was very happy with that! I finished and then went and shot a match play round against another master at the same course same conditions. And I suddenly totally forgot how to play this game!! Was lucky to hit 40% of my dings. Putts were flying all over the place. Wind was not effecting shots then suddendly it would blow up a gale. Shots that I had played in the tournament were NOT THE SAME. I could have charted my clubs till I was blue it would not have made a damm bit of difference.
Jim you noticed I play a lot of AS this is true but you also say this is not a good way to refine?? Why? I enjoy winning and shoot to win I don't just go out and hit any shot I can. I play AS just like I was playing a tournament game because I don't want to let my pard down .
Jim I am afraid I am not going to change your feelings about this game. And I think you will not alter mine that this game is rigged but I still hope that we can have this discussion and agree to disagree.
Good Luck To You!
