grumpyolddom: Since you are one of the top players here and a (defender of the Holy Grail) I am sure you would be more than happy to do this for us 23% 1 putt shooters!!
My gosh, none of that:) I do speak my mind and can be v critical of WGT when I think it is needed. Free speech performed correctly is a marvelous thing even if I do talk some crap sometimes:) Attacking WGT with rubbish and sorry but that's what your are doing is nonsense.
Look though Grumps (if I may call you that). You are a Master and well done on that. We were all Master once and nothing wrong with that. Point is though that the difference between 23% 1 putt and 60% 1 putt is not the game. Honestly you need to forget all about that, and just learn the game.
There is no point in me sharing my yardage charts with you as you are using different clubs / ball anyway, and you need to appreciate that. Now 150 yards out up 33 feet, 10MPH headwind what's the calc...Here is mine: 150 (then up 33 divide by 3 so 11) + 11 x wind power (104%) so overall power needed 157. For me that's often a 7 iron fizzed in 100% power FBS....What's your shot??? with your clubs? Template below for you to full in below. I suggest practice mode Beth 10, 11 and 12 low cross wind, take only dinged shots (average of dist 5 dings each setting) then test it in RRs adjust as necessary. Learn to punch...what does your 64 wedge do at 22 yards out FBS what power etc etc. Not an easy game and no short routes to success, and you need to appreciate that. CIB (very good player) kindly posted a good starting point on his page (loads stuff really) if you do want to look at something already done. It's a start point only for you to begin your own charts though IMO...what works for you your ball / club combo / spin settings you like whatever.....Get really bored feel free to see way I play here - did it for a few friends. Easy reverse engineer what I do, but no exact copy possible as my clubs / balls / my way doing it right or wrong...I also strongly suggest you look more at top players like BB, Notonthis etal as they do know how to play and I would go by that....
We all did the journey you are on. The gap between where you are and very good scores is NOT the game and suggesting it is is beyond ridiculous. The gap between where you are and Legend (any form)/ regularly very good scoring is also not the game and suggesting it is also nuts. I am not trying to be rude, only help. Up to you what you do with the inf. Like you I just turned up and started playing so either very lucky I was not picked as some random to stuff or something any one can do with effort.
Have you put this effort in? L90 and 120 RRs says it's unlikely you have put yourself out much, but only you know.
Looks like you play mostly A/S - great fun but no way to refine! All above why I can easily say it's not the game stopping you, and why blaming it is so utterly ridiculous. Defending WGT with your preparation, and therefore woe is me fairy dust, need it on a plate easily attacking it would not even raise a yawn. How else do I say it? Putting down a KFC and wondering why you can't win a yard dash against well prepared athletes?? Just gotta put in teh hard yards or go enjoy A/S and nothing wrong with the latter. Not being rude but the excellent players debating debating fine lines is simply not where you are currently at. Put in the hard yards, get to that and by all means debate the fine lines. As it is it's ridiculous.
Anyway basic template aimed at spin settings which I use a fair bit. You should also have one for 100% power and FBS, 75%, 50%, 25% and neutral IMO for each and every iron. I can play too much spin.
